Happenings at StC
Important Announcements & News…

September 13, 2026: Happy hands are needed to help create blessing packets. Primarily for dogs & cats, these will be given at several Blessing of the Animals events the first week in October, 2026. Dogs will receive a treat, cats will receive a tiny bag of catnip, and each packet will contain a St Francis of Assisi blessing card. Join us downstairs after the coffee hour. All necessary supplies will be provided. This will be a fun task. Questions: Call or text Tricia Terry at 360-970-0198. 

Church Picnic: Sunday, September 20, 12:30 at Kirsop’s Landing, 8039 Hargis St NW (not far from the church). Hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks provided. Bring potluck dishes to share: salads, sides, chips, fruit, veggies, desserts. We’ll have folding chairs but if bring your comfy camping chair if you want to lounge!

   Sep 26th, 11 a.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran – Memorial for Bron Lindgren
   Oct. 1st – Blessing of Animals (Companion Cove and Carlyon Beach)  
   Oct. 4th – Festival of St. Francis. (Special events/worship TBA)
   Nov. 15th? (tentative) – Church Thanksgiving Potluck
   And of course, every Sunday throughout the year – we worship together.
