Dear Friends, Our faith is grounded in the stories we have been given in Scripture. Ever since I was a kid, I loved Bible stories. It commemorates the day in 1865 when enslaved people in Galveston, TX, learned of the Emancipation Proclamation, which formally ended their enslavement.
