Photographs by Thomas Kiefer, from his collection “El Sueño Americano”, will be on display at St. Christopher’s Church (7902 Steamboat Is. St. Christopher’s members were active volunteers at the 2018 Griffin Schools’ Science Fair on Saturday, March 17. “Community Scientists”  (L to R) Marty Walther, Annaka Thibodeaux, Dixie Reimer, and Cindy Goldsmith offered their smiles, encouragement, and evaluation of Griffin students science projects. It is common to find our members involved in many civic, educational, charitable, environmental, and philanthropic activities… we just happened to catch these four on camera! —- A scientific discovery is also a religious discovery. There is no conflict between science and religion. Our knowledge of God is made larger with every discovery we make about the world.” […]

Wear your grubbies to church because after the 10:30am service on Sun., 3/18 we’re sprucin’ things up! Time to pick up downed branches, blow off leaves, and generally tidy up around our grounds as we get ready to celebrate Holy Week and Easter! Bring your own gloves and gear!

Two Griffin 7th graders, Kailey Clark and Trinity Byrd, lead Griffin students and families in a food drive for our local Thurston County Foodbank hosted at St. Christopher’s. Trinity and Kailey’s leadership resulted in over 15 boxes of food for local families and households in the Steamboat area. The Thurston Co. Foodbank Site at St. Christopher’s distributes food monthly to over 14 families and households in the Steamboat area. Food Donations come from St. Christopher’s congregants, local food drives from organizations like the Griffin Schools, the Griffin Neighborhood Association, the Carlton Beach Homeowners Association, Steamboat Area 4-H, and others local […]
