[from the Rt. Rev. Greg Rickel, (Episcopal) Bishop of the Diocese of Olympia ]
On Tuesday, March 19, the Diocese of Olympia will be hosting an intimate benefit dinner for Chaplains on the Harbor. This event will be held at The Rainier Club– Seattle’s most elite private club, located in the heart of downtown. Because of your continued support to the vision and mission of Chaplains on the Harbor, I’m extending a personal invitation to you to attend.
During our time together we’ll have an opportunity to meet one on one with Chaplains on the Harbor staff– including apprentices who have journeyed from experiencing homelessness and incarceration to launching a successful social enterprise, marching alongside Presiding Bishop Michael Curry, and testifying before the US Senate. We’ll also hear from the Rev. Sarah Monroe, founder and priest, on COH’s history, latest developments, and long-term vision for restoring people, land, and hope in Grays Harbor County.
The price for attending this event is $300 per person. This includes appetizers, beer and wine, a full dinner, coffee and dessert, as well as a donation to Chaplains on the Harbor. Validated parking is available for $15 at the Columbia Tower lot across the street. If you prefer valet parking at The Rainier Club, please indicate this on your RSVP and $20 will be added to your admission. Please RSVP using the link below no later than March 10, 2019.
Your generosity has been a tremendous blessing to Chaplains on the Harbor, and to the mission and vision of our diocese. Thank you! We hope to see you on March 19.
