Special Litany of Gratitude…

We have much to be thankful for at St. Christopher’s… too much to list completely! But we want to mention a few folks here:

For Kathy Haller who coordinated the Thanksgiving Potluck, thank you and well done. Our congregational Thanksgiving feast 11/12/223 was a wonderful community celebration!

For Steve Andrew, we love the new sliding doors for the Food Bank pantry! Thank you for installing them.

For Cory Hilby, Toni Schmidt, Eric Frevert, Alex Flannagan, Debbie Whidden, Andy Sloan and the Griffin Fire Department for supporting the medical emergency on Sunday. Jeff is out of the hospital and recovering well. Thank you.

For all the Open Hands gardeners, What a beautiful summer of crops! Thank you! The beds look peaceful ready for their winter sabbath.

For all these things and all these people, Lord, and for so much more besides, we are grateful!

Important Announcements & News…

Grubby Sunday, Dec. 10: It is time to make the grounds festive for the winter season and begin preparations for the live nativity. We will have a work party after the 10:30 am service on Sunday, December 10. Tasks will be available for all ages and abilities. Please join us!

Saturday, Dec. 9, from  9-11 am is also an option to make the grounds festive if you’re not available on Saturday and want to help.

The Four Vision Quests of Jesus Book Discussion – It’s begun! Join us at 9 am on Sundays at StC or at Urraco Coffee Co. Tuesdays at 6:15 am or Wednesdays at 1:30 pm to discuss this thought-provoking book!

Underwear Drive! Donate new adult-sized underwear – pants/panties, socks, etc. Drop them in the collection box in the narthex (entryway) by November 18th. We will deliver to Olympia’s Union Gospel Mission. Questions? Marcia Rugg.

Cold Clothing Drive. Lindy Vincent is collecting new or gently used coats, hats, gloves, etc. Please bring your donation to the church. Lindy Vincent, our Outreach Coordinator, is in charge of distribution in our local community.
