EV – Eucharistic Visitors
Eucharistic Visitors (EVs) are ministers selected and trained from among the congregation. EV’s take the Eucharist, consecrated by the priest with the congregations great “Amen,” out from the congregation and to the homes, hospitals, and care facilities of those who cannot otherwise be present. The Eucharist is the center of the EV’s ministry. In addition to the Eucharist, EV’s provide pastoral care, a listening presence, prayer, and guidance as needed.
