St. Christopher’s Open for internet, electronics charging, Foodbank, & potable water

St. Christopher’s is opening its doors Monday from 9:30am to 4pm to assist our community in the following ways (assuming we keep power, that is!): 

1) Foodbank pantry open.

2) Electronics charging

3) Potable Water (bring your own container)

4) Internet (email, web surfing, etc. – no streaming please)

5) Warming station. 

This will be a “Please Do Loiter” kind of event. If you have something to share with your neighbors it is welcome. 

We are located at 7902 Steamboat Island Rd. NW (just North of 79th). If you would like to volunteer to help with this event message me and we’ll coordinate. 

You all have our prayers for safety during this rather spectacular set of storms. Keep looking out for each other.

Helping Afghan Immigrants and Refugees

St. Christopher’s regularly uses the ELCA (Lutheran) and Episcopal Church networks to distribute funds directly where they are needed.
