Summer Book Group: Listening for God
Where do you listen for God? This question is behind the short stories collected in Listening for God–and the challenge is to pay attention everywhere.
This summer, a book group at St. Christopher’s will be reading the stories collected in Listening for God (Volume 1) and gathering weekly to discuss. The book is filled with wonderful stories from contemporary authors–it promises both to be fun summer reading and to spark great conversation.
You can order a copy of the book here. Please note that used copies are widely available at a lower cost. If you’d like to participate but ordering a book is a hardship for you, contact the church office. We would be happy to help provide a copy.
You don’t need to be a St. Christopher’s member to participate! This is a great opportunity to discuss the life of faith in an open, welcoming environment. Questions, doubts, and ponderings are more than welcome–they’re part of a living faith.
The book group will gather on Thursday mornings at 10am at St. Christopher’s, starting June 27. See you there.
