Organizer: Kathy Little

Sacred Ground: A Film-based Dialogue Series on Race & Faith

Dates: You can choose…

Tuesdays at 2pm, September 14th - November 16th

OR

Thursdays at 7pm, September 16th - November 18th.

The Community of the Little Sisters of St. Clare is offering a study of the SACRED GROUND curriculum offered by the Episcopal Church. The purpose is to unravel the history of racism in its many forms and make conscious how this evil continues to pervade our world today. This study points the way to healing.

Including films, written articles from publications, and two books: Jesus and the Disinherited by Howard Thurman and Waking up White by Debbie Irving, a rich curriculum is offered to touch our hearts and stretch our minds.

There is no charge for participation in this study.

The first session will be held on both

Tuesday, September 14th at 2PM PDT

and

Thursday, September 16th at 7 PM PDT.

Please indicate which Day/Time works best for you. Sessions will continue weekly until November 16th/18th. Each session will last about an hour.

Please extend this invitation to any friends who might be interested. All are welcome.
