Ash Wednesday (First Service)
Feb 18, 2026 at 1:00pm
Organizer: James Thibodeaux

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, the 40 day spiritual journey to forgiveness and new life (the Cross and Resurrection). On Ash Wednesday, ashes are placed on the foreheads of worshipers as a sign of our hearts desire to change direction, leave behind sinfulness, and grow closer to God. It also signifies that we need God and need God to help us because our own efforts amount to dust and ashes.

Everyone is welcome. You can receive ashes or choose not to. But be prepared for God to meet you and draw you towards truth, grace, love, and forgiveness.
