On the first Sunday of the month we worship together - everybody, all ages.

To adults this teaches that children/youth...

• are present and valued members now.
• contribute to the life, function, and joyful fullness of our community now.
• have the same requirements as adults: love, patience, understanding, respect, attention, etc.
• can teach us, make us laugh, and bring us joy and wonder. Children and youth are a treasure.

To our children/youth intergenerational worship teaches...

• that you are important to God and the Church regardless of your age.
• that everyone can and does give, serve, and help in this community. Everyone has valuable gifts to share.
• that Church is a community of shared learning and spiritual practice. Sometimes that is fun and playful. Sometimes it's serious and focused. Sometimes easy and sometimes challenging. Always it is worthwhile.
• To welcome and accept others in the way they themselves have been welcomed and accepted.
• To develop healthy relationships with adults.
• That there are wonderful, wise, and deep faith practices that we all need to know and do.
