We have 6 Major Information Outlets at St. Christopher’s:

  1. The WebsiteStChristopherOlympia.org
  2. The Beacon e-NewsletterSignup here to receive weekly emails.
  3. PPC / PushPay ChMShttp://StChristopherOlympia.CCBchurch.com
  4. The Church AppDownload it here for either Android or Apple devices
  5. Social Media – Including our Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo, and YouTube accounts.
  6. Our Text Service (MojoTxt) – (360) 810-3292. Text MENU, HELP, STOP, GIVE, and more.

The Website:
Our Front Porch and Parlor

Use the Website to get general info, news, and events details.

Our website is the online “front door” for St. Christopher’s. It is designed for newcomers and for church members to find general information and events. The articles and events posted there are the central pieces of our email newsletter, The Beacon.

Not great for…

  • social connection,
  • discussion,
  • and finding out personal information like email addresses or phone numbers.

PPC (PushPay ChMS):
Our Family Room

Use PPC with your groups to communicate, connect, and organize your group fellowship events, ministries, and service opportunities.

PPC (“PushPay ChMS”; formerly Church Community Builder/CCB) is our community’s “family room.” PPC focuses on ministry in groups whether home groups, study groups like Bible Studies or ministries like Altar Guild or the Foodbank. A required account with login and password makes sure names, addresses, and personal details are kept within the community. Each group gets its own message board, calendar, needs requests, and contacts page. Email is the primary way PPC communicates between users.

In addition you can setup, view, and manage your online giving.

Not great for…

  • Making or finding public announcements (Great for group announcements!)
  • Promoting public events.
  • Having philosophical/theological discussions.

The StC Church App:
Our Grand Central Station
On The Go

Use the StC Church App to connect to the Website, PPC, Social Media, online giving and more while on your phone or tablet.

The StC Church App connects your device to most of our online offerings. It puts a great deal of the info from the Website, PPC, and Social Media in one convenient place – on your phone or tablet. Use it on the go, on the couch, or in the pew at church. We’ve designed it to be updated and useful in keeping you connected to the congregation AND to the wider Church.

In addition you can use the app to make donations or payments securely.

Not great for…

  • advanced PPC usage (i.e. crafting messages, making events, etc. in PPC. (Use the PPC LEAD app for that or go to a laptop/desktop);
  • multitasking where you want to have multiple tabs/screens/programs open at once.

Social Media:
The Patio & Kitchen Table

Come sit, read, and chat awhile! Use Social Media to be inspired or challenged, to encounter and discuss ideas, to socialize and laugh, to pray for each other, to connect socially online via Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo, YouTube, and more.

Social Media augments, but does not replace, our in-person social connections. We use our social media to broadcast ideas and perspectives, to discuss, chat, and socialize, and to offer prayers and inspiration. We don’t expect everyone to agree with opinions posted. In fact, the opinions posted don’t always represent our congregation. They are, however, always perspectives connected to our ministry and mission. We encourage members to connect with each other, listen, support, and encourage each other. To celebrate life and comfort each other. And always to be in prayer for each other.

Not great for…
sharing personal/private info (don’t do that…), planning as a group or ministry team,
posting important info you want to come back to (i.e. reference materials, schedules),
