Save the Date: Blueberry Bash Is August 25
Mark your calendars now! This year’s Blueberry Bash is August 25, noon to 4pm.
Come join in the fun this August at the annual Blueberry Bash at St. Christopher’s. This year’s event will feature games for all ages, music by local bluegrass band The Oly Mountain Boys, a silent auction, and lots of good food (oh, and did we mention the blueberry pie?).
A portion of this year’s proceeds will go to SideWalk, a volunteer operated “one-stop shop” for shelter and homelessness services for homeless adults in Thurston County. Read more about SideWalk here.
Join us for this great opportunity to gather with old friends, meet new ones, and enjoy an afternoon of good food, spirit, and fun. See you on August 25th!
A Community Tradition
The Blueberry Bash is a longstanding tradition at St. Christopher’s and a much-anticipated event in the Steamboat Island community every year. Held at the end of August, the Blueberry Bash is a neighborhood festival with food, music, games, and activities for all ages.
Proceeds benefit the work and ministry of St. Christopher’s, and a percentage is given away to a local charity. Members of St. Christopher’s and the wider community all pitch in to make this a fun neighborhood event, year after year. Contact the church office for more information.
