Great Expectations – Studying Isaiah this Advent

“They shall beat their swords into plowshares…”

“They will not hurt or destroy on all my holy mountain…”

“… sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”

The words of the prophet Isaiah set the tone for the season of Advent, the time of expectation and preparation for the joy of Christmas. This Advent, we’re studying the words of Isaiah during our Sunday morning education hour at St. Christopher’s.

On December 1, 8, and 15, we’ll gather from 9 to 10am for coffee, good company, and time in this rich and imaginative book of the Bible. Join the conversation–all are welcome.
